[Paid] 2e AD&D Pool of Radiance: Defiance in Phlan - West Marches in Faerûn

Defiance in Phlan is a 150 years later sequel to the 1st Edition video game Pool of Radiance set on the Moonsea of the Forgotten Realms. The Lord Regent died mysteriously in a construction accident and new leadership has taken over the city. Meanwhile the Cult of the Dragon has increased their interest in the northern shore of the Moonsea. The nobility of Mulmaster on the southern shore of the Moonsea along with their Thayan allies want more information about the activities of the cult and to seize any dragon related artifacts for themselves.

This as a 2nd Edition AD&D adaptation of a 5th edition series of adventures rewritten to focus on role play, political intrigue, mystery, espionage, and treachery. It is suited for Lawful Evil, Lawful Neutral, and Lawful Good operatives who use deceit and guile rather than the keen edge of a blade to serve those in power and perhaps join the ranks of the nobility themselves.

Earlier edition veterans welcome as are 5th edition only adventurers who want to try something new.

• Duration 3 hour min up to a good stopping point
• Player Choice: Fantasy Grounds VTT or Theater of the Mind (DM drives your VTT)

• Custom maps made in Campaign Cartographer
• Original side quests
• Campaign wiki with over 190 entries and growing
• Characters may be from the 2nd Edition Player’s Handbook or Faiths & Avatars
• Drop in Campaign Friendly with West Marches show up when you are able flexibility.
• Episodic style play.
• Preferred styles are the Actor, the Explorer, the Storyteller, the Thinker, and the Watcher.
• Not good fit are the Power Gamer, the Instigator, or the Slayer.
• Session will be recorded and text generated for current and future joiners to see what has already been accomplished.

• Generally PG-13 but may be Rated-R, TV-MA, or M for Mature at times with themes similar to Conan, Beastmaster, The Barbarian Bros. Etc.
• No censorship of canon lore or “modernizing” the setting. See the people of Faerûn in all their glory and horror.
• LGBT and diverse character friendly. The game will be about the character not the players.
• Refrain from discussing any real world privacy matters such as weather where you live, who you work for, that great restaurant in downtown <REDACTED> that you love to eat at etc.
• Refrain from discussing politics, sports, and other off topic matters.
• No personal attacks against other players
• DM reserves the right to remove anyone for misconduct or harassment
