In my ruleset, players have to equip weapons in primary or secondary hand. I would like them to equip a torch or lantern if carrying, and if they switch that out I would like to remove the torch effect (easy) and drop a light source where they are standing. Is this possible? Thanks.
Hi, I can’t answer this, but just wanted to mention something. If you are trying to simulate them dropping it on the ground, you would also need to script removing it from their inventory as well, otherwise they could have infinite torches.
There are no APIs to interact with lighting outside of token lights at this time.
