Castles & Crusades Rule Set – Official Announcements & Updates

As most of you have surmised, our old fantasy grounds product line, which was outdated and very broken, has been retired permanently. It was started in the early days of Fantasy Grounds and never really got the support it needed. In the last 2 years, TLG has stepped up and committed to bringing a fully supported new product line that not only is updated to the current FGU standards but also has been brought in house so that it could be maintained properly over time. Development on new products is active, but will be released by company developers when they are available at their own pace.
A few important things about this ruleset:
The Quick Start Guide (QSG) has fully equipped pre-generated characters that you can use right away. To activate them:
- Go to the sidebar: Modules --> Activation then choose ruleset filter and make sure the QSG module is activated.
- In the Modules window click on the QSG and look in the right window for the contents list.
- Find the pin entitled "Pregenerated Characters" and open it up.
- A window will popup with 4 pregen characters. Simply click on the green plus for each one and this will add the four pre-gens one at a time to your character roster to use.
For those of you that are have been using the Legacy ruleset, you may be wondering how to open and use your preexisting campaigns. Not to worry, the new ruleset is completely backward compatible. You just need to complete a few quick steps to get your adventure back up and running. We have put together an informative guide to help with this process. Castles & Crusades: C6 Ends Meet
This is the sixth installment of the Darkenfold Adventures. The adventure can pick up after C5 Falls the Divide, however, it is not necessary to play that adventure to enjoy Ends Meet. The party has found their way onto the Post Road to the east of the town of Ends Meet. The adventure takes place along the northern banks of the Muddy Wash, the Post Road, and Valley Springs. It reintroduces the party to the people and village of Ends Meet.
- Adventure Type: Overland & Urban
- Levels: 5-9
- Party: 3-5 characters
- Setting: Aihrde, Portable to Home-brew
