Two, builders do that for houses all the time. It’s called builder incentives. You could have bought your house last week and this week they could lower the prices on new houses by 10s of thousands $$$.
When you buy an item you have to accept it’s worth it to you at the time of buying. Not expect a company to come back and offer you a new item for free or heavy discount because they came out with a new version or in this case not even a new version just cheaper than you got it.
Look at cars or TVs etc.
Would be nice if a company could do that but it’s normally not good business to do that.
If this were the case almost no company would ever lower prices or do sales.
What’s worse here is you still can buy the Ultimate at 33% less than you would have got it for before. Many people had to pay full old price for Ultimate. So to them you getting a great deal.
Also you just missed a deal where it was 20% off. Which would have made it even better. I guess they need to refund anyone that ever bought it full price even the newer people who got it for 50$ instead of 40$ like last week.
