Free products for license owners?

i think this is the right place to post this. anyways i was trying to get a new player set up and i saw you can get some free promo kind of thing if you had bought a license key back before you went to a free model. i thought cool and hit the link but it some hows says i dont have a bought key. i certainly bought it back when it was on sell for 50. but its doesnt seem to see it.
